How it Works

Beginning Nov. 5 through mid-December, players will have the opportunity to play pickup games - per age group - in basketball, volleyball, and futsal Mondays through Thursdays (all three sports are available each evening). This type of free play is essential to player growth, and of course it's super fun. Times will be listed on your SportsEngine team calendar - just come on down!

Older teams (high school age) will focus on performance training, defined by speed and agility, strength and conditioning and injury risk reduction. Opt-in sessions are offered during this time period. 


At MetaSport, We believe that better movers make better athletes - which is at the core of our philosophy on Athletic Development.

In addition to our multisport programs, we will offer occasional opt-in Multilateral Movement clinics that focus on Mobility, Stability, Acceleration and Change of Direction. Through activities like jumping, strength and speed training, modified wrestling and crawling, players will have the chance to develop athletic qualities, reduce the occurrence of injury, and have fun doing it.

Registration is free and is required so we can be prepared. Players will train and learn how to play basketball and volleyball taught by expert trainers in those sports. 

These trainings are optional for Meta players, but we encourage participation on any level. All trainings take place at the Utah Athletic Center.


Beginning in January 2019, Mondays through Thursdays are futsal trainings with designated days/times for each team.
