COSTS FOR 2018-19
The costs to participate in MetaSport's programs are comparable to or less than other clubs in Utah. We believe in transparency - which is why you see in the chart below the total cost per year you can expect to pay per age group. We don't make you do calculations or try and find hidden costs, like a lot of sports organizations. We make it simple.
So, what do you get for the costs? So much!
√ For ages 2010 and up, 10 months of the year you get 12+ trainings a month, with your team and optional additional trainings
√ 2 months of the year your player gets to try basketball, volleyball and participate in pick up futsal games. Older kids have specialized athletic training in preparation for high school play.
√ Extra Strength & Conditioning sessions
√ Indoor training from November through March
√ Quality Training & Coaching: we have a created an online coaches education curriculum for our staff - and we're introducing it this year for parents and players too.
√ All fees included such as referees and fields costs, state of the art equipment, and insurance.
What's the difference between State & Club Registration?
Every player must register with the state gaming league, Utah Youth Soccer Association. Registration fees for UYSA include participation fees and state field fees. Each player also must register through MetaSport to pay for club tuition, which covers everything from technical training and winter facility fees, to coaching, field rental, referees and administration costs.
Why do costs vary per age group?
Younger teams will have less training or not attend winter training. Older teams have more training sessions and more referees per game, for example. 16U-18U is part-year due to players' participation in high school soccer program.
When do I have to buy a uniform?
All players are required to purchase uniforms and training apparel every two years, per their team's purchasing schedule and kit requirements. The 2018-19 year will require ALL Meta players to purchase the new team kit.
What about payment options?
We know it's a lot to ask families to pay the full amount of the year-long program upfront, so we've created a monthly payment plan for your convenience.
Option #1: Pay in full upfront and receive 5% discount on coaching fees.
Option #2: Pay club tuition cost as 11 equal recurring monthly payments. (A 5% convenience fee is applied).
